SOURLITE
SOURLITE is a green liquid whose purpose is to neutralise residual alkali and bicarbonate introduced via the water supply.
Description
Correctly used, SOURLITE lowers the pH of the sour both to a desirable pH of b/w 5.5 to 6.5. Linen that is not correctly soured can be difficult to process – for instance through flat work ironers. Loss of colour, browning and even skin irritation can occur.
